REFORMER

The reformer can be adjusted to suit your body shape, your strength and your flexibility. You will activate your muscles and mobilise the joints. Be prepared to lie down, stand and sit for a full body workout that increases total body strength and control. As you progress you will challenge your balance, endurance and coordination. Improve posture, technique, strength and stamina in a class designed to keep your body in motion, challenging multiple muscle groups at the same time.

TOWER

What is the 'Pilates Tower'? At first glance it looks like a medieval torture device, but fear not! The Tower is a vertical unit that uses a variety of attachments - a roll-back bar, arm springs, leg springs and a push-through bar to provide a full body workout. Basically it uses a multitude of springs and is an addition to the reformer that can be used in reformer classes.

 

Tower allows adjustment of springs and resistance for your height, weight, and strength. It lets you target legs, arms, bottom or any part of your body, while still using your core. It is a total body strengthening workout, without stress on your joints. The stretch on a Tower is unparalleled! The Tower exercises assign a great deal of focus to opening the hips, chest, lengthening the spine and emphasis on breathing to deepen each stretch.

JUMPBOARD /
CARDIO REFORMER

Get ready to feel the burn! The jumpboard is a padded plate that replaces the foot bar on the reformer and provides an excellent and non-weight bearing method to increase heart rate. The jumpboard workout is safe and much easier on the joints than running. There is no jarring of the knee joints. Low Impact. You are “jumping” while lying down. Our clients describe this class as their quick fix stop when they’ve got big weekend plans. Best with previous Pilates experience.

semi-private/duos.

MAT PILATES

Much more than just a mat! You will learn the foundations and master the proper form and technique on the mat. As you progress you will improve your coordination and balance whilst challenging strength, endurance and stamina.
Our Mat classes can also include arc barrels, balls, fitness circles, bands, poles, stability balls and more to give you the best possible total body workout. You’ll leave feeling toned, lengthened and strengthened; all classes are designed to be a total treat for your body and mind. ​

Mat classes can be private, semi-private/duos
or up to 7 people.

bootybarre

bootybarre is a fun, energetic, workout that fuses techniques from dance, pilates, and yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body.

bootybarre is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre.

Jane started teaching pilates at The Farm for us last year after a keen interest was shown from our members to add PIlates to our weekly schedule. Having designed a beginners class that is tailored depending on ability and modified to suit rehab, injury, age and fitness levels her class quickly became popular and had regular attendance. Her wealth of knowledge and experience has helped our members gain confidence, strength and stability. Jane's classes are always innovative and fresh as she implements accessories and aids to help the class move and progress each week. During lockdown Jane provided online workouts every week enabling our members to keep up their pilates practice, her passion and enthusiasm really is second to none and she is a valued member of our team.

barrelates

barrelates is a combo class that integrates the precision from Pilates and Barre foundations. The first half of class is mat-based Pilates style for upper body and abdominals. These exercises are taken from the influence of Joseph Pilates using his technique and blended with a higher intensity structure to give you a more high energy, dynamic workout. This style of exercise creates long, lean muscles and lengthens your spine. The second half of class moves up to the barre for focused leg and glute work.

 

With continuous, connecting sets of exercises targeting all the major lower body muscle groups, you’ll get your heart rate up and muscles burning. The class is customizable for your own goals and fitness level, whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced. This workout is great for people who are newer to barre style classes as it gives you variation to build up your strength. It’s the perfect full body workout at any level!

Pilates HiiT

This Pilates Fusion is a full body HIIT workout with some Pilates inspired exercises. Our focus is flexibility, mobility and creating long, lean muscles and sweating a lot to burn lots of calories.
